User Management

You can manage the users of your tenants and their roles.

Caution: User role "Admin" is a prerequisite.

Here you can:

  • See all the users current assigned to the tenant and their roles
  • Modify user roles
  • Add new users
  • Remove users
  • Set up SSO rules

Adding a user

You can add a user to your tenant specifying the user's email and desired roles.

If this user is already registered on Axinom Portal, they will immediately see your tenant and can work on it in a scope of the assigned roles.

You can add a user to your tenant even before the user registered. Once the user with this email registers, they are automatically assigned to the tenant and their roles activate.

User Roles

There are four roles: Business, Billing, Admin, and Technical. The Technical role can be granted on specific environments or on All Environments.

Removing a user

If you remove a user, it will lose access to your tenant, but their account will remain active on Axinom Portal.

Set up SSO rules

Axinom Portal supports external identity providers (IDP), such as:

  • Google
  • Microsoft (Entra ID)
  • GitHub
  • LinkedIn.

Generally, users can log in with any IDP of their choice. Further authorization happens based on their authenticated email.

However, you can restrict the choice of IDPs for accessing your tenant. For example, you can require that users with your email domain (e.g., @company.com) can only access your tenant if they authenticate using Microsoft IDP. This will make sure that your Active Directory is used for authentication. Should a user leave your company, you can disable their account in Active Directory, and they will lose access to your tenant in Axinom Portal as well.
