Services

Axinom offers various services on top of the Mosaic Platform. They natively integrate with the platform and its features, and you pick the ones you need.

There are two kinds of services. Managed services are developed and operated by Axinom, while customizable services come as open source code that you can adapt. For details, see Types of Services.

Managed Services

Developed, hosted, and operated by Axinom. Enable them for an environment and use them through their APIs and the Management System.

• AxAuth Sign in with email and password, without a third-party identity provider.
• DRM Protect your digital video assets with a multi-DRM solution that can be implemented in the cloud or on-premises.
• Encoding Ingest, transcode, protect, and package videos into modern formats like MPEG-DASH, CMAF, HLS.
• Image Ingest, manage, and transform images.
• Localization Manage languages and translations of your content metadata.
• Personalization Maintain user-specific data like profile, settings, favorites, watch progress, etc.
• User Sign up and authenticate the end users of your frontend apps through ready-to-use APIs.
• Video View and manage your videos and cue points.

Customizable Services

Delivered as open source code in the Media Template. Use them as they are, or adapt them to your needs. To try them out without code, see Try the Services.

• Catalog Deliver your published catalog, such as movies, TV shows, seasons and genres, to your frontend apps.
• Channel Curate channels and playlists.
• Entitlement Control which content each subscriber can access and what rules apply for playback.
• Media Manage the metadata of your movies and TV shows and orchestrate their ingest.
